Wendy Willis Miller started her career as an agency recruiter working with local businesses in the Seattle area over 20 years ago. By developing relationships with hundreds of the city’s top companies she was able to understand and meet their hiring needs by proactively recruiting sales and marketing professionals. She was named top yearly contributor in a highly competitive office three out of five years and was regularly recognized for outstanding service .

Pursuing her interest in technology, Wendy joined a startup streaming media software development company, which gave her the chance to build a client base from the ground up. During the five years that she spearheaded the sales department, she handled the needs of clients in the diverse industries of technology, consumer electronics, appliances, and housewares. Clients such as Apple Computers, Viking Range, Kitchen-Aid, LG Electronics and Philips relied on her business sense and creative suggestions to develop compelling digital merchandising tools and services targeting their online consumers.

Combining her passion for technology firms and her love of recruiting, she created demiSourced in 2010. Wendy recognized the need for affordable hiring solutions among start-ups and created a business model offering on-demand, hourly-rate recruiting services, allowing her clients to avoid the overpriced placement fees of contingency agencies. This also allows her clients and her team of recruiters to build a deeper working relationship as they work together as a cohesive team.
